IAICS in KGU!!

Theses days, I took part in the International Association for Intercultural communication Studies (IAICS) as an assistant. This is an international conference. I knew the conference at the Honors English Seminar class. Prof. Sato told us in the class. There were many foreigners in KGU and they are from many kinds of places. I knew the conference at the Honors English Seminar class. Prof. Sato told us in the class. There were many foreigners in KGU and they are from many kinds of places. For example, there were American, Indian, European, Chinese, and Russian and so on. Our work was helping them in English. First day, I was in hasty because I got up too late. I was late for the meeting, so I couldn’t understand the situation when I arrived at the place. As soon as I got there I looked for Ms. Judy to know what I have to do then. I could saw her, I was worried about my work. When I found her, she was talking another person, so I couldn’t talk with her for a while. After she talked, I could talk with her and knew what I have to do then. This day, I had the part of Campus Tour. Through this tour I told the guest of meeting where they have to go.
Second day, I became a camera man, and I took many picture of the meeting. Firstly I took the pictures of presentation. I thought I had to be nervous because I might interrupt the presentation from doing well. So, then, I tried to be like air. I became a ninja. I got to be quiet. I entered the rooms quietly and slowly. When I entered the room, most of them looked at me. I was sorry but I could take good pictures for introducing the conference. After the presentation, they had coffee break, so then, I took pictures of them. I said “Can I take you picture??” many times. They said to me “Off Course!!” When I heard their saying, I got be very happy and I felt their smile was so good. I thought they were funny and they had humor. I could enjoy taking pictures. I also had the part of introducing the dance of Yamaga-Toro. This is Japanese folk dancing. I talked with the dancers for decide the place of dancing, they had good smiles so I enjoyed talking with them. The dancing was also very good.
Third day, I was very sleepy because the time of getting together was early. This day I had a good time because after the conference we were invited to the party as a guest. It held at the Nikko Hotel. There was very beautiful dinner. I became very happy and I could talk with some foreigners. I also watched Iai. Iai means samurai’s performance. Some Japanese Professionals of the performance came to the paty and they showed us Iai. It was a moment. They cut rolled tatami instantly by their Katana. It was beautiful and nice. Mr. Tomei also did the Iai. He looked cool.
These three days I could really enjoy this activity. [583 words]
