Dear my host family,
Hello! My name is Yusuke, I’m 19 years old and I’m majoring in English at KGU. I want to be a good English speaker, because I want to know foreign people through talking with them in English. I have two places where want to go in my life. One is Europe, another is America, because there are many attractive places in these countries, so I’m looking forward to visit your family in America. I will make use of this opportunity to improve my English, and I want to know your family for good staying, so please answer some questions.
Firstly, I have seven people in my family, my grand parents, parents, older brother, younger sister and me. Most of my family is not punctual. Each of them acts at their own pace, so my house is always noisy at breakfast, and some of them sometimes have a quarrel. On the other hand, they often talk about the things they experience or feel during the day, so we know each other, this is my family. How about your family?
Secondly, my favorite sport is tennis. I belonged to tennis club in my high school for three years, and I like playing tennis very much because people can play tennis while talking and I could make many friends through playing tennis. I think tennis is good sports for communication. Would you like to play tennis with me? And I also want to do popular sport in your country.. What is the most popular sport in your country?
Finally, I like my hometown, Mashiki, is a beautiful town. Mashiki is rural and there are many trees, rice fields, mountains and rivers, so I can see the four seasons clearly. For example, in spring, I can see many cherry blossoms. In summer, I can hear the chirping of cicadas. In autumn, I can see beautiful leaves In Winter I can see the Mt Aso covered with snow. And also Mashiki is famous for watermelon and tomato. They are juicy and delicious because Mashiki's water is clear. I want to know your home town's special product. What is famous from your hometown? How about your hometown?
Now I have many things that I want to do when I stay your home. I couldn't help thinking of the life in your country when I was writing this letter. I'm looking forward to see you!!! [402 words]
