BR1-05: Lazy gnome -Book Review-

Harold was a happy farmer, until the day a gnome arrived. One day the gnome settled his farm, because he liked the place. At first, the gnome helped on the farm, but he gradually got lazy to work. Harold wanted to get rid of him but he couldn’t. Then the gnome said that he wants half of everything Harold grow. Harold didn’t like that at all, so he agreed but decided he would trick the gnome. At harvest time, he gave the gnome stalks of wheat and took the top of the wheat and had sack of full grain. The gnome got angry and said that he would take the top of the crop. At next harvest time, Harold had piles of turnips. The gnome got the top of the plant: leaves. He got very angry and he left the place. Harold never saw him again. [146 words]
