This story is funny because the man, Mr. Slate who wants to built his hotel at Shiverham Hall, but all Siverham’s guests were dead. Before Mr. Slate came, the hotel was peaceful, but it became difficult because of his plan. Ghosts didn’t want to lost their place, so they struggled with him. They tried to surprised him but he didn’t pay attention to them. When they were about to give up, Mr. Slate’s aunt came to the hotel. Mr. Slate is not good at her.
